Thorndon Country Park

We visited Thorndon Country Park today and had a long walk around it. There are some lovely wood sections, but I’m always a sucker for a view and their were some great ones out towards Kent. This was an HDR shot that I then dabbled with both the oil paint filter and watercolour filter in Photoshop to give it a more painterly look.

Here’s another (black and white) shot from the same day…just a little earlier in the walk – the mound is called Pigeon Mount and had a tower built on it in the 1600’s
