So, you may see a connection between today’s image and yesterday’s…

I saw an excellent documentary on Netflix about a graphic designer called Christoph Niemann and this image is very much inspired by him…although, unlike Christoph, I cannot draw to save my life 😉

Have a look at his work here – http://www.christophniemann.com/portfolio/ I found his work very inspiring. If you get chance check out the Netflix series “Abstract The Art of Design”

Can you see the tenuous link to yesterday’s photo? I know it’s neither a window or a reflection, but you just can’t beat firing air gun pellets at water filled balloons and photographing the resultant explosion!

This was done using a trigger trap and 2 flash guns at Bishops Stortford Camera Club this evening – very straight forward but great fun.

This morning as I left the house for my morning walk around Dunmow I decided, at the last minute, to switch my 18 – 55mm lens with my 55 – 210mm lens on my Sony NEX7. I’m not sure why…but I was very glad I did. If I had taken this shot with the 18-55, you’d have been hard pressed to see the hot air balloon, but it is reasonably clear with the lens out at 210mm.

I’m claiming this as fitting my windows and reflections theme because…well, there are windows in the image 😉
