lights

This was all a bit of a dogs dinner…but I ended up quite liking this abstract shot of the view through the car window in Tesco’s car park!

Work is over and Christmas has started in the Seton household…I’ve wrapped up all my presents for the big day and looked at the (few) pictures I have taken for the 365…and they are rubbish…it’s 23.30 and I need to find something to photograph…and I spot this character in a corner of the room…perfect!

It’s not Great is it?

I don’t hold the Town Council wholly responsible for this. They spend a lot of time clearing up after the selfish of Dunmow – just look at that rubbish…including in the Christmas Tree. No doubt this will all be cleared away first thing in the morning by the councils street cleaners. Credit where credit’s due – the High Street and Market Square look a lot better.

You do have to wonder about where the Town Square is though…it caused all sorts of uproar when it was originally sited here – outside the public toilets pretty much in a car park with a road running through it!

It’s not Great is it?

One for next years Christmas cards (although it does remind me rather of a Dalek!)…

356/366 The Christmas Tree

We’re nearly there and, unusually, our Christmas Tree has already been up for nearly a week. We’re normally a lot later putting it up what with one thing and another. Presents have started to appear under the tree…I still haven’t wrapped any of mine, but I have at least got them all 😉

The Christmas Tree

We (well…Debbie) put up the Christmas decorations and tree up today so the house feels nice and festive now. To celebrate I tried my hand at deliberately taking a totally unfocused shot of the tree with the lights on to create this effect. The Christmas lights appear as those disks of light and are called bokeh in photography circles.
