Busy day today which fortunately included some product shots for my wife’s company The Crimson Rabbit. This is one of her new cowls she has just added to her store.
That title finds my tongue firmly in my cheek, however, within 30 mins of my wife placing this item with attendant photographs in her Etsy store it was snapped up…if only everything was as simple as that 😉 If you are looking for some handmade knitware or some decorative figures have a look in her Etsy shop here.
We had an extensive product shoot today – lots of my wife’s new projects needed to be photographed. We took some of the shots in the garden and whilst I was waiting for the next shot to be ready I saw this Wagtail on our roof.
Today we tried to come up with something a bit different for some of my wifes knitted shawls and scarves, effectively replacing the background. Not entirely successful but a good piece of learning.
This wasn’t supposed to be today’s picture. I took a number of shots of my wife’s new product…but the pictures have been embargoed because she is doing a special launch of them…and I can’t give the game away! I have taken a similar shot of a cowl earlier this year.
If I’d have known that before I wouldn’t have spent the rest of the day clearing out the loft 😉
I was commissioned to come up with some product photography for the company I work for – here’s an example of a shot of a digital scale I took – the company required a white background with a gentle reflection to complement the look and feel they had for their other products. To make things slightly more complicated I only had an ex-demo unit to work with so had to spend some time cleaning it up to make it look nice and new. The image was used on their website.
