Look, it’s been raining, and I’ve only just got up, and I’ve not had time to brush my hair…
I always think that I’ll spend a bit of time on these sort of anniversary shots like the 250th shot of the year…I always either don’t realise it’s the anniversary or I simply don’t have the time or opportunity to get a good shot…rather like today.
This stream/river used to feed the Tilty Mill which, whilst derelict, can still be found a little way down stream. The water is diverted away from the mill now. Lots more after the break.
Lovely work this lunchtime through Rowney Woods in Essex. There was a slight mist throughout the woods giving some great atmosphere…there was also a lot of bird activity including
I got Debbie a new bird table for Christmas and we have had the first visitors to it – they may not have all arrived at the same time ;-). The Sparrows, Doves and Tits are still rather suspicious of it and haven’t yet ventured into it…
The bugger didn’t come back after I had decorated the bird feeder with tinsel!
This lunchtime…I had a lunch hour…first time in over a week! So I drove down to Lower Holbrook and took a stroll down the coast. I found a small beach and then further along a whole load of trees that were being slowly pulled back into the sea/river – this is the tidal part of the River Stour.
