A quick trot into Clavering Church today…I took loads of shots, but really didn’t like any of them, so you get this rather disappointing effort…
The first frost of this Autumn this morning, it made a pleasant change from the unseasonally warm weather we have had over the last few weeks.
We took our Sunday afternoon walk in Garnetts Wood today, I very mild overcast autumn day – perfect for a pleasant walk. I got a view shots and include them here for your enjoyment.
I have been known to take the occasional photograph of Doctors Pond. When Debbie (my wife) saw the colour version of this she groaned and said I was clicheing (I might have made up that word) my own cliches!
Now, I had gone out with the intention of taking a black and white picture (although not of Doctors Pond) because there was some really nice cloud formations and lots of deep blue sky…hang on a minute…I’ve never done a black and white picture of Doctors Pond…
Debbie was not impressed 😉
So, one last shot of Tower Bridge in London from last Sunday. Whilst I was processing this I wondered why the bridge was painted blue. In fact it was painted red, white and blue for the Silver Jubilee back in 1977, previously it had, apparently, been a chocolatey colour. It was opened in 1894 on the 30th June.
