We had the promised downpours early evening today. By 8.30 I was just finishing my dinner and thought I’d pop out and see what sort of sunset we’d get. It was a cracker…if only I’d been out 15 minutes earlier!

Never mind, the heavy rain that had fallen was quickly turning into thick rolls of mist and I dived out of the car and shot this handheld 5 shot HDR to ensure I had a shot with at least a little bit of sun in it. I wasn’t the only person arriving here to catch this scene. A chap on a motorbike also pulled up 200 yards down the road and hurriedly set up his tripod to get a few shots.
