We’ve had the second batch of ducklings appear over the last week or so (you can see a whole barrel load here). So here’s one of the new batch – there is now an awful load of waterfowl on Doctors Pond now, and the Mallard Ducks, Canadian Geese and Moorhens

I was quite surprised when I counted up the number of ducklings this female Mallard had in tow – eleven…and not a male in sight 😉 There was clearly plenty of tasty morsels to go at on the side of Doctors Pond as all the ducklings were busy pecking away
